Can non-divers help?
Yes—assist with staging, debris sorting, or fundraising. Volunteers are always welcome.
What happens to the debris collected?
It’s sorted, recorded, and recycled or disposed of responsibly. Data helps track reef debris trends.
What if the weather is bad?
Each dive operator will advise if the trip is delayed or canceled for safety reasons.
Are there sponsorship opportunities?
Yes—sponsors fund cleanup supplies and are recognized on event materials. Contact organizers for details.
How does this help sea turtles?
Removing fishing line and debris prevents entanglement and protects the coral habitats turtles depend on.
